Don’t Look Up

Netflix’s film DON’T LOOK UP tells the story of two astronomers who struggle to get mankind to take action against the threat of an approaching comet that will destroy planet Earth.

Will the government take the threat to humankind seriously?

The film highlights the uphill battles that humankind is currently facing with climate change. From being distracted with social media, to ineffective governments to corporate greed. It’s a satirical and alarming look at just how the current destruction of our planet is unfolding before our eyes. With many either not caring, not doing anything about it or simply chasing the mighty dollar!

Many will watch this film and not grasp the deeper, underlying tones of this film. Heck many of the reviews and newspapers have even been quick to pan it. Could it be because they are at the butt of a lot of the films jokes and more concerned about what certain celebrities are doing, rather than the real stories unfolding around the planet right now.

First and foremost, we would implore those that have not seen ‘Don’t Look Up’ to give it a watch as it’s one of the funniest, most important films of this generation in our opinion.

After watching it, you feel like as a person, or as a business that you would like to do something about climate change then the options available to you are endless. If as a species we go down, wouldn’t you rather go down swinging?
